Winter season slows down in South of Minas Gerais See photos

Potato winter season was finished in September for some producers in South of Minas Gerais. 10% of the production area shall be harvested this month and the last 5% in November, according to Hortifruti/Cepea collaborators.  Up to now, profitability has been positive. Planting for summer season in this region will be intensified this month and summer harvest is expected to start in November and finish in May/17.
