Even though it was always present in the field, female participation was little recognized as a differential in workforce and leadership. Today, the scenario is changing: considering all agricultural activities in the country, in the horticulture sector women stand out and occupy the first place in leadership and occupation! In March issue of Hortifruti Brasil magazine, we show the evolution of women in the sector for the last 12 years, as well as the achievements and challenges faced by them, with the participation of some women, from different areas of agribusiness.
