In October, tomato supply may increase due to the intensification on the second half of winter season in Sumaré (SP), South of Minas Gerais, Paty do Alferes (RJ)  and North of Paraná. According to Hortifruti/Cepea data, is expected that 28% of production will be harvested this month and prices may be smaller. However, weather is always a main factor for  tomato supply and quality. From August to September, tomato prices increased 2.5% in Paty do Alferes and 6.5% in Venda Nova do Imigrante (ES).
