Piracicaba, 20th - Between July 9th and 13th, potato prices dropped in Brazilian whole sale. In Belo Horizonte (Minas Gerais state) potato quotes decreased 12.23%, closing at BRL 50.17 per bag of 50 kilograms.
Even with the end of season in Paraná state, harvest remains intense in Vargem Grande do Sul (São Paulo state) and Southwest of São Paulo. Quality is good, considering favorable weather conditions for production (warm days and cold nights). The forecast for this week is still high supply and low prices.
