Brazilian papaya exports can be better in October than the last months, according to Hortifruti/Cepea collaborators. The reason is low supply of european fruits, which favors brazilian papaya in external market. Thus, papaya demand increased in Europe, as for other tropical fruits. A limiting factor is the drought in producing regions in Brazil , that impacts in papaya quality.
