MANGO/CEPEA: Outlook for 2019 See photos

Piracicaba, 8 – Investments in new mango harvest areas will continue in Vale do São Francisco (Pernambuco and Bahia states) and in the North of Minas Gerais in 2019 but, at slow pace, given the large area already planted recently - which may also result in higher supply in 2019 and on the years to come.

Mango profitability may be low in 2019, especially in case of a decrease in sales, particularly for the European Union – planting of fiber-free mangoes (such as palmer, keitt and kent), was higher than tommy, since their main destination is the European market.
