Fruits and vegetables with Zip Code

Today there are successful examples about of Geographical Indication in Brazil, such as the wine from Vinhedos Valley (RS), “aguardente” (a typical drink in Brazil) from Paraty (RJ) and coffee from Cerrado (MG). However, brazilian horticulture sector doesn’t benefit from this differentiation strategy widely used in Europe.
