Piracicaba, 14th - In the first semester of 2020, rains were more frequently in Vale do São Francisco region (Pernambuco and Bahia states), impacting the volume and quality of grapes. According to Hortifruti/Cepea collaborators, now, the consequences of rain are smaller, but still impacting in supply, mainly for white seedless grapes.

In this scenario, prices for these varieties, as arra 15 and thompson are high. Last week (August 3rd to 7th), packed white seedless grapes were sold for BRL 10.76/kg, an increase of 2.1% in comparison with the week before.
