Piracicaba, 6th – In Brazil, medium and high technology banana areas will either remain the same or increase slightly in 2020. This is because of investments that are expected in producing regions where good water availability and/or new irrigation perimeters is present.
In addition, prices rose in 2019, which favored investments in area and farming practices. As result, banana supply may increase in 2020, consequently press down quotes.
