Prices of banana prata variety are growing up in all producing regions followed by Hortifruti/Cepea. The main reason is a significant drop in supply. Besides that, nanica variety is also lacking in the market reaching record prices, even higher than prata. Thus, consumers prefer buying prata instead of nanica. Producers estimate that prices of prata will continue increasing in the next weeks in all Brazilian market.
