Piracicaba, 30 – After the end of Peru’s 2017 mango season, European demand for Brazilian mangoes increased last week (20 to 24th March), rising prices from palmer variety in São Francisco Valey, for both external and internal markets. Palmer for export market was sold by BLR 2.48 per kilogram, resulting in an increase of 13% in one week. As for domestic market, Brazilian producers received around BRL 1.94 per kilogram for palmer, an increase of 6% in the same period.
